South and central U.S. were hit by fierce stroms and deadly tornadoes that left at least seven people dead in Arkansas and a caused major devastation in the area.
The authorities have confirmed that at least six people in the county were killed and the numbers could rise as the search and rescue teams start the process. Another person was confirmed dead in White County, Ark. The twister has caused damages in 30 mile traile and has left tens of thousands of people without power.
Another twister had hit the small northeastern Oklahoma town of Quapaw that resulted in the death of one person. The tornado, after hitting Quapaw, then move to North Kansas and hit Baxter Springs that is located about 5 miles away. The authorities have said that the tornado has injured several people in the area and confirmed numbers will be released soon.
The weather channel had reported bad weather in area before the tornado landed on central Nebraska, reports of tornadoes in Iowa were also released.
